ohh MAN this one. this one has been with me for a WHILE. like since i was 12 probably. I've started to tell this story twice already, and both times I didn't end up fully getting through it, but maybe someday..
Sunnyside is set in a bustling city- some may say it's the entertainment capital of the world, due to the amount of theaters and shows that are put on there. It's also home to a very prestigious school for acting, directing, music, and tech, which most of our main characters attend.
Along with that, the story revolves around the Sunnyside Theater, a monthly live anthology show that makes extensive use of mechanical props and technology to tell tales of people and places the likes of which have never been seen before. There's one show per month, always in the same building. After every show, they release one backstage pass, a golden ticket for four people to be able to come backstage and see how everything works- and talk to the man who runs the show. It's given out through a raffle, but recently it's devolved into a squabble to see who can steal it and keep it until the next show. All four of our main characters have their own motive to get this backstage pass. Speaking of-
